A Grounding Place is a soft furniture collection which reconnects your self with the present through your senses.  Focusing on an object’s characteristics - the patterns, the textures, the smell - can help centre your thoughts when they become too overwhelming. 

 

The collection includes handmade objects that stimulate different senses: tactile, smell, sight. Each object is made using the punch needle and yarn. This technique is used to create different patterns and textures that the user can explore. Focusing on these elements help you achieve a mindful state.
